The Brew is a coffee-fueled community event that creates space for entrepreneurs to pitch ideas, spark conversations, and grow together.

The brand refresh focused on expanding the existing visual identity while respecting the event’s trademarked logo. Rather than rebranding, the process centered on building a flexible design system that feels fresh, fun, and community-driven. Through thoughtful exploration of color, typography, patterns, and illustration, new brand elements were developed to complement the original logo and reinforce the event’s mission.

The process was guided by inspiration research, city branding references, and practical applications such as coffee cups, signage, and digital assets. Each design decision was made to ensure consistency, approachability, and usability across touchpoints, resulting in a revitalized brand that feels cohesive, modern, and rooted in both coffee culture and local community connection.
