About Me

My process begins with extensive research. it is my goal to understand every aspect of a project. i love understanding the history of a business, the culture surrounding it, the community that it is within, the people, the places, and the enviornement. I understand the importance of understanding a specific artist and letting the true voice of the company shine through my work. My job I have found is to create a design that best represnents a product or a business and the best way to do that is allowing for proper in depth research. My desire is to create work that resignates with the company and its audience. Next I spend time skethcing and crafting to allow myself to find the right imagry and icons to use.

My process begins with extensive research. My goal is to understand every facet of a project…It’s history, the culture surrounding it, the community it exists within, and the people, places, and environment that shape it. I believe strong design starts with listening. Understanding the identity of a business or artist allows the true voice of the company to surface and guides every creative decision that follows.

My role, as I have come to understand it, is to translate that research into a visual system that represents a product or brand in the most authentic way. In-depth discovery creates understanding and empathy, and empathy creates more intentional design. My aim is always to create work that resonates with the company itself and with the audience it serves.

From there, I move into sketching and iterative exploration. This hands-on phase allows me to test ideas, refine form, and identify the imagery and iconography that best communicates the concept. Through crafting, editing, and simplification, the final design emerges, this process is so satisfying especially in a collaborative work, with a team. I would love to be a part of your team!
